One of the reasons that I had in the past was power supply (battery) level was to low. If the power supply is detected as low, it joins the network but it doesn't save information to flash. So it works fine until you turn the power off. After turning the power off I had to rejoin it again.
The symptoms I had that every time I rejoined the the network I had different IEEE address - which should be the same but only network address will be different.
Because the problem I had was on the router device, when I read the flash where IEEE address is stored, I read only FFFFFFFFFFFFFF. This indicated that the flash memory is not written to. With the end device you can't read flash so it is harder to see. |
